Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision components in a fast-paced factory environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools. The CNC Lathe Operator will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality production standards are met consistently.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining
  • Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet specifications
  • Maintain proper tooling and fixtures, including tooling changes on CNC lathes.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for quality control compliance
  • Assist with materials handling, fabrication
  • Move materials, tools and equipment within the manufacturing facility
  • Follow safety protocols related to machining operations, and materials handling
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency

Experience

  • Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing or factory setting
  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T principles, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Experience with tooling setup, and materials handling
  • Ability to operate related machinery such as CNC milling machines is desirable
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations required during machining processes
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing environment

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing facility where precision machining skills are valued. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in machining operations combined with mechanical aptitude to contribute effectively to our production team.

Pay: $ $32.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
