Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing discrepancies. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating variances, and implementing procedures to improve inventory accuracy. This position requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and Safety protocols. Your contribution will directly impact our operational efficiency and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of required PPE.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy and status.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse management role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Knowledge of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
