We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and that goods move seamlessly through our supply chain. A strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence is paramount. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be adept at handling various materials and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack pallets and other materials.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues or damage.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory locations.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Be prepared to perform moderate Lifting tasks when not operating the forklift.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a busy setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
