We are hiring for a Picker/Packer position at our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will use scanners to locate items in our inventory, pick them with speed and precision, and then package them securely for transit. If you are a reliable, energetic individual with a keen eye for detail and enjoy an active job, this opportunity is for you. The position requires consistent physical effort, including significant Lifting, and adherence to strict Safety standards and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Operate pallet jacks or other basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Strictly follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory checks and other warehouse tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Experience using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to perform frequent manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with logistics processes and warehouse Safety protocols.
