Join our bustling warehouse facility in Dallas, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! This crucial role is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be the frontline ensuring our customers receive the correct items in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include using scanning equipment to locate items, picking them from inventory, and then carefully packaging them for transit. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail to minimize errors. This is a physically active role that requires efficient movement throughout the warehouse and involves consistent Lifting. Understanding basic warehouse logistics and maintaining a safe work environment are key aspects of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to perform frequent and significant Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Commitment to following all Safety protocols.
