We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Kansas City, Missouri team. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the careful handling and movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory, the efficient processing of orders, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store incoming inventory in the correct locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and securement of products.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Comply with all safety regulations and requirements, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Must be safety-conscious and willing to wear all required PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
