We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our busy facility in New York City. This role is pivotal to the efficient operation of our logistics network, encompassing a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking and shipping. You will be an essential part of ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our diverse customer base. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount, and all associates are required to adhere to strict protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stocking merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Conducting inventory cycle counts and assisting with audits.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Strict adherence to all Safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
