We are actively recruiting for a skilled Forklift Operator in our bustling Las Vegas, Nevada facility. If you possess excellent forklift operation skills and a dedication to workplace safety , this is the role for you. You will be responsible for the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory, and ensuring materials are properly stored. A thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control is beneficial. Safety is our top priority, so adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE , is mandatory. This position may involve tasks requiring standing, reaching, and lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to designated staging or storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Follow proper handling procedures to prevent product damage.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with documented experience.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
- Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
- Compliance with all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
