We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials within our Miami, Florida warehouse. This position requires precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety . You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory within the warehouse, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating various types of forklifts and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics . Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies and wear the provided PPE . This role involves significant physical activity, including reaching, bending, and lifting when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and operate machinery safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Adherence to all company policies regarding PPE and operational procedures.
