Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including associates, clerks, and operators.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and proper stock rotation.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety rules and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Optimize workflow and space utilization to improve efficiency and productivity within the logistics chain.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform manual lifting, up to 50 pounds, if required.
- Commitment to promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and understand operational demands.
- Experience with implementing and monitoring PPE usage.
