You will be responsible for expertly picking items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets and then carefully packing them for secure shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, utilizing scanning technology, and preparing packages of all sizes. A meticulous attention to detail is vital for minimizing errors and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to the organization of packing stations and foster a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations within the warehouse using order lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Generate shipping labels and affix them correctly to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all packing stations.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking of packing supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting, bending, and standing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a comparable warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to handle tasks involving moderate to significant Lifting.
