You will also be involved in maintaining the organization of the packing stations and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations within the warehouse using order lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring protection during transit.
- Generate shipping labels and affix them correctly to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all packing stations.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking of packing supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Perform tasks that involve repetitive motions and significant Lifting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to handle tasks involving moderate Lifting.
