We are hiring Picker/Packers for our dynamic logistics facility in Austin, Texas. If you are an energetic individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency, this role is for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory based on customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and will be performing regular lifting. Safety is our highest priority, and all employees receive comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques, the use of packing materials, and the mandatory wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate boxes and packing materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders in designated shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for the entire shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
