We are hiring a motivated Picker/Packer to contribute to our efficient order fulfillment process in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that items are packed securely and correctly. Your daily tasks will include navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanners, locating products, verifying quantities, and assembling orders. This role demands a high level of accuracy, speed, and a commitment to quality. The ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 40 lbs, is essential. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory for success in this logistics position.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and secure closures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE and participate in safety training sessions.
- Must be able to handle moderate lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with manual lifting techniques.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
