Join our fast-paced logistics facility as an Order Picker in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specific items, and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be working with a team dedicated to fulfilling orders with speed and precision. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. - Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Load and unload products as required.
Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels. Must be able to work efficiently in a standing and walking capacity for extended periods. Willingness to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly. Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse flow. A strong emphasis on safety and following all safety protocols is required. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to overall team goals. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. This role is critical to our supply chain efficiency.
