We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Minneapolis, Minnesota to support our busy warehouse operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role requires a certified and experienced operator who prioritizes Safety and efficiency. You will work in a dynamic environment where precision and adherence to protocols are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, ensuring secure placement.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately locating and moving stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways for safe movement.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some manual Lifting.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our Logistics network.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment. Strong understanding of forklift Safety procedures and best practices. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of warehouse Logistics and inventory management is a plus. Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
