Job Summary:
Our dynamic logistics company in Seattle, Washington is seeking a reliable Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and preparation of materials within our warehouse. This position is critical for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, supporting our receiving, storage, and shipping departments. You will utilize various equipment to move products and materials, always prioritizing Safety and accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packing and labeling.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
  • Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
  • Handle frequent and substantial Lifting of materials, often exceeding 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a strong asset.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
