Join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a skilled individual to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to support our warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for moving materials, managing inventory, and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of goods. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload inventory and materials.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure operational readiness and report any defects.
- Transport materials accurately to designated staging and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock location verification.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to support warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrated experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with general logistics and material flow.
- Excellent manual dexterity and awareness of surroundings.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
