Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately put away incoming inventory.
- Pick customer orders using scanning equipment and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (with certification).
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and the consistent use of PPE.
- Must be reliable and able to meet performance expectations.
