Become a vital part of our logistics network as a Material Handler in Boise, Idaho! In this role, you will be responsible for the movement and handling of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. You will operate various material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies, to move goods. This position is physically demanding, requiring consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and all team members are required to strictly adhere to company safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will play a key role in maintaining an organized and orderly warehouse, which is crucial for smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, hard-working, and possesses a positive attitude. Experience with warehouse environments and familiarity with logistics procedures is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Pick and prepare materials for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic material handling equipment.
- Strong physical stamina, with the ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and PPE usage.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
