Join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor in San Jose, California, and lead our warehouse operations to new heights. We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for efficiency, team development, and operational excellence within the logistics industry. In this role, you will oversee a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping are performed efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include managing workflow, training and mentoring staff, enforcing safety standards, and implementing process improvements. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control is essential. You will champion a culture of safety, ensuring all team members utilize the correct PPE and follow all established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operational procedures.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Manage inventory accuracy and implement control measures.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and organization within the warehouse.
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for improved logistics .
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics , inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operations.
- Knowledge of proper PPE requirements and enforcement.
