We are seeking enthusiastic and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing scanning equipment and following detailed order instructions. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is paramount, as is the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). We encourage a team-oriented approach where collaboration and communication are key to achieving daily targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and using PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
