You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring that every order is picked correctly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Verify picked items against order slips to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movement and order status.
- Package picked items carefully for shipment, protecting them from damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support overall logistics flow.
- Operate pallet jacks to move inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent lifting for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to warehouse safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations.
