We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Worker to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of all products within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Accuracy and efficiency are critical to our success, and you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards in these areas. We prioritize a safe working environment for all our employees. Therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. This includes the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the application of safe lifting techniques to prevent workplace injuries. You will work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced setting, contributing to the overall productivity of the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory accurately.
- Store merchandise in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
- Pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment with high accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing transport and assist with loading.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting methods.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Meet established productivity standards and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Understanding of and commitment to safety procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
