Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments, maintaining organized shipping records, and coordinating with carriers to optimize delivery schedules. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and without damage. You will be involved in every step of the shipping process, from receiving goods to dispatching them. Your role will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics department. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
  • Verify outgoing shipments against order forms.
  • Package items securely for transit, ensuring protection against damage.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate shipping logs and inventory records.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Willingness to assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to perform Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with standard PPE requirements in a warehouse environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and understanding of Safety best practices.
