Job Summary:
Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Detroit, Michigan! This role is key to the successful operation of our logistics hub, ensuring products move efficiently from our facility to our customers. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your contribution is vital to upholding our commitment to timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will operate various warehouse equipment and learn about best practices in supply chain management. We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. Safety is our top priority, so strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels in designated areas.
  • Pick orders using RF scanners or pick lists with high accuracy.
  • Pack merchandise securely for shipment, ensuring quality.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments for carriers.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including using PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits.
  • Handle lifting of items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Contribute to efficient logistics operations and team goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Experience with lifting and moving goods is essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency for using warehouse systems.
