Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Shields Foundation is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our clinical team. This position plays a critical role in the development, implementation, and oversight of evidence based behavior intervention programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in individual and group settings.

The BCBA will be responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives, and creating written behavior intervention plans and clinical programming guidelines. The role includes collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data during each clinical session to evaluate treatment effectiveness and guide clinical decision making. Accurate and timely documentation, data entry, and billing within the company's clinical software, including Therap, are essential functions of this position.

The BCBA will also provide training, supervision, and ongoing support to Behavior Therapists and other clinical staff to ensure treatment fidelity and high quality service delivery. Collaboration with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members is required to support client progress and continuity of care. All duties must be performed in compliance with BACB ethical standards, Shields Foundation policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualified candidates must hold a current BCBA certification in good standing and possess a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field from an accredited university. A minimum of one year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, data analysis skills, and the ability to develop and oversee effective behavioral programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to supervise and mentor staff are essential.

Applicants with BCaBA certification who are actively working toward BCBA certification may be considered for a BCaBA role based on experience and supervision needs. Experience supervising Behavior Technicians, familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Therap, and experience in home, school, or clinic based settings are preferred.

This position offers competitive compensation, a supportive and ethical work environment, and opportunities for professional growth. Shields Foundation provides comprehensive health insurance coverage after 90 days of employment, consistent with agency benefits offered to eligible staff.
