Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power our core data infrastructure. This role focuses on integrating external data sources, ensuring data quality, and delivering clean, reliable pipelines that support rapid business growth.
You will work heavily with Python, SQL, APIs, AWS, Snowflake, and DBT, building automated workflows for data ingestion, cleaning, deduplication, entity resolution, and data transformation. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role ideal for someone with a startup mindset, strong autonomy, and deep data engineering expertise.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines.
- Integrate external datasets with internal systems using Python and SQL.
- Develop workflows for data cleaning, deduplication, and entity resolution.
- Work with relational and graph data to map relationships and connections.
- Diagnose and resolve data quality issues across systems.
- Automate ingestion processes and pipeline orchestration.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams.
Required Experience
- 15-20 years of Data Engineering experience (big tech preferred).
- Expert-level Python programming skills.
- Advanced SQL and query optimization experience.
- Proven experience designing and scaling data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of API integration, ingestion, and transformation processes.
- AWS fundamentals (Step Functions, CloudWatch, S3).
- Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
- Must be US-based.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180, $245,761.28 per year
