Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack to join their pioneering team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team building robust, cloud-native, and highly scalable solutions in data management and security, leveraging modern cloud and data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create robust, cloud native solutions.

• Attract and retain talent, involved heavily in the hiring process and practice, and actively coach and improve performance.

• Accelerate adoption of best engineering practices and maintain knowledge of industry innovations and trends.

• Promote a culture of engineering excellence, leading the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.

• Be the guiding force for stakeholders in design and architecture discussions, helping engineering teams make key technology choices.

• Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the enterprise at all levels of the organization.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• At least 4 years of people management experience.

• Experience in GoLang, Java, Python, React, Rust, or C++.

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.

• Experience with containerization technologies and Agile practices.
