ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Reports to the Slot Manager.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, friendly, professional, and efficient interaction with Guests, Co-workers Management and Vendors.

  • Requires dependable and punctual attendance and flexibility with scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings

  • Make HHR machine fills and jackpot payouts

    • Responsible for preventative maintenance; the ability to notice a potential problem, fix it and/or notify HHR Supervisor / Management.
  • Document the maintenance in the Department Repair Log.

  • Clean machines and assist in keeping the casino clean and free of debris.

  • Makes change for Guests as needed.

  • Examine and sign Jackpot tickets and prepare other documents per Departmental SOPs.

  • Verify and Pay Jackpot amounts to Guests, per Departmental SOPs.

  • Assist with providing necessary information on ticket concerns and report concerns to your Supervisor.

  • Provide all necessary information on ticket cashing Kiosks.

  • Reconcile daily redemption activity in a timely manner, per Departmental SOPs.

  • Load voucher paper/HHR tickets into machines as needed.

  • Walk the Gaming floor area and explain game functionality to Guests if requested.

  • Perform general maintenance on HHR machines as required such as replacing light bulbs, replacing buttons, clearing bill validators and clearing printer jams.

  • Assist in resolving minor Guest concerns/disputes if needed.

  • Oversee projects, issue work assignments and assist as needed in support of casino operations.

  • Other related duties include but not limited to complying with the following: Gaming Rules and Regulations, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting

  • Ability to learn present and future Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures.

  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.

  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year of experience in high volume casino operations preferred

  • Basic understanding of electronics Preferred.

AGE AND CERTIFICATION:

  • 18 years of age or above

  • Ability to obtain an NH Gaming License

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language required.

  • Ability to read and understand documents and diagrams in written English form is required.

  • Ability to respond to inquiries, complaints and emergencies.

  • Ability to speak bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • General math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply commonsense judgment at all times through the course of completing your duties and tasks as assigned and when interacting with Guests or employees.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are the representative of those that an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but increases to loud when on the casino floor. Employees will be working in varying temperatures.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Employees must be able to work varying- schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

The Casino Service Representative is responsible for creating a fun and professional environment for our Guests by providing prompt and courteous Guest Service while performing the Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below and adhering to HHR SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Company Policies and Gaming Regulations.
