Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, preventing losses, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and access points to identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing immediate assistance as needed.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures and emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and taking appropriate action.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Familiarity with law enforcement practices and procedures is preferred.
• Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of integrity.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties effectively, including standing for extended periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
