Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cargo van or box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving.
• Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Deliver goods to multiple customer locations within designated routes, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer questions and confirming receipt of deliveries professionally.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, heavy lifting, and organizing stock when required.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience with Amazon , Fed EX , DHL or any of the big delivery companies focused on route delivery is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and handling heavy items using manual or powered equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, moving items, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
