IT Enterprise Architect

The IT Enterprise Architect will lead the design and optimization of our enterprise-wide technology architecture. The ideal candidate will provide the vision and direction needed to align IT strategies with business objectives, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions. A strong background in SAP and ERP systems is essential, as this role will play a critical part in guiding the organization's digital transformation and enterprise resource planning initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and framework, with an emphasis on Global technology landscape.
• Align IT architecture with the organization's business strategy, goals, and objectives across all core business functions.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide technology roadmaps that include SAP landscapes, integrated ERP systems and technology supporting across all business functions.
• Provide architectural oversight and strategic input into major initiatives including migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of new technologies, platforms, and tools, particularly within the ERP and business applications ecosystem.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Business units, IT teams and external vendors) to assess and prioritize architectural needs.
• Establish and promote architectural standards, best practices, and governance models, including those specific to ERP implementation and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and oversight to solution architects and development resources.
• Ensure enterprise systems are scalable, resilient, and aligned with regulatory and security standards.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, to drive innovation and modernization.
• Govern solution architecture and conceptual design of projects in line with the Architecture standards and guidelines.
• Design and Develop architecture blueprints, current state and future state architecture

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Expertise in ERP landscapes, and best practices for ERP architecture.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Expertise in Data Analytics, APIs and Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in architecture modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA, LeanIX).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 years in enterprise architecture roles.
• 5+ years of experience with ERP systems, including architecture design and integration.
• Experience with other enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Team Center, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
• Certifications (preferred):
• TOGAF Certified
• SAP Certified Technology Associate or Solution Architect certification
• AWS/Azure Solution Architect
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• ITIL Certification
