Power BI Report Developer

We're looking for an amazing Business Intelligence Report Developer to fill this role. This is a hybrid, in-office role. You'll
work in person at our Miami Office Tuesday to Thursday each week
.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions (ad-hoc reports, scorecards, dashboards, automated reports, and more) using a variety of reporting platforms, including PowerBI (with DAX), SQL, and Excel.
• Possess high-level subject matter expertise for data modelling, data sourcing, data quality, and BI delivery solutions.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Work to improve the BI development lifecycle.
• Partner in requirements gathering from non-technical business personnel.
• Approach challenges with a can-do spirit, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently, collaboratively, and willing to work on additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and effective reports.
• Support and uphold our Culture Essentials
• Other duties assigned as needed within the scope of this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with SQL, PowerBI, and Excel.
• Minimum 3-5 years Business Analysis experience
• Expert-level knowledge of Power BI, including data modelling, DAX formulas, and custom visualizations
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Tableau and SSRS experience are a nice to haves, but not required. Experience with Power Apps and SharePoint integrations is a plus, but not required.
• Expertise in the design, development, and formatting of tabular reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards with drilldown capability.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices
• Detail-oriented thinker exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.?
• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously?
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues?
• Familiarity with iterative development and Agile Scrum practices??
• Experience with supporting testing phases with users
• Experience with version control
• Experience with data governance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
• Demonstrates confidentiality and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
