Type: Full Time

Schedule: 7:30am – 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm

Starting Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing direct IT support to employees, both onsite and remote, and collaborate with our external IT provider for advanced support. This role is vital in ensuring our employees can perform their tasks efficiently, directly impacting our productivity and success. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary onsite contact for all technical issues within the company.
  • Provide first-level IT support, including resolving printer connectivity issues, software installation errors, and desktop support issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Track and document all support activities within our ConnectWise ticketing system.
  • Resolve helpdesk tickets and escalate unresolved issues to the external IT provider as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, docks, and mobile devices.
  • Ensure the efficient onboarding of employee technology by imaging and deploying devices and handle offboarding activities by disabling and wiping technology promptly.
  • Support users directly with Microsoft 365, Infor, SolidWorks, Adobe, and other desktop applications as needed.
  • Perform common administrative tasks such as password resets within M365 Admin center.
  • Assist our external IT provider with the rollout and support of our new Dynamics 365 ERP environment. Partner with ERP upgrade team and outside consultants as needed.
  • Provide training and support to employees on new software and functionalities.
  • Manage technical equipment inventory and assess needs quarterly.
  • Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with IT policies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize inbound ticket requests.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred:

  • An associate's degree or trade school certificate in IT or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of desktop support experience supporting a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are preferred.
  • ConnectWise experience preferred.
  • Dynamics 365 experience preferred.

  • Subject to noise, hazards, and oils when in production.
