Emerald Hills Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and passionate Practice Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee the daily operations of the clinic, lead a talented team of professionals, and uphold our commitment to exceptional patient and client care. Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Learning & Development team to ensure staff training and performance meet expectations and deliver an unmatched client experience.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to maintain high-quality medical care and optimize veterinarian schedules for client needs.
- Manage various aspects of the facility, including purchasing, property management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop annual budgets, monitor practice revenue, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of veterinary management experience required.
- Veterinary marketing experience is beneficial.
- Experience as a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) or certified veterinary practice manager (CVPM) is ideal but not required.
- SHRM-CP, BS or other advanced degrees are a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building and staff development.
- Decisive decision-making ability and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenges.
