Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions that improve member experience and business outcomes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and revenue growth.
Apply model lifecycle best practices to ensure consistency, reproducibility, and strong model governance.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with technical and business teams, including Data Engineering, Product Owners, and ML Enablement.
Drive advanced analytics in areas such as Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and predictive modeling.
Communicate data insights creatively and clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied/Health/Quant Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related quantitative discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or 1+ years for PhD holders).
Proficiency in machine learning, statistics, and data science fundamentals.
Experience with time-series modeling/forecasting and scalable forecast hierarchies.
Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud and on-prem computing platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Master's or PhD in a related field.
Prior experience with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR, disease indicators).
Experience with ML lifecycle management, documentation, and logging.
Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, ggplot, seaborn, plotly, bokeh, altair, holoviews.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring others.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
