About the Role
TAVIL USA is seeking a skilled and hands-on Machine Setup Engineer to join our technical team. This role focuses on the setup and start-up of automation machinery, including PLC programming, network configuration, and system integration. The ideal candidate combines strong electrical knowledge with automation experience and enjoys working in dynamic environments across diverse customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup

• Execute on-site machine setup and commissioning for packaging and palletizing systems.
• Program PLCs using ladder logic and structured text (Rockwell, Siemens, B&R).
• Configure VFDs, communication buses, and network switches.
• Manage upstream and downstream interlocks with third-party equipment.
• Interpret and apply electrical schematics to ensure correct installations.

Automation Integration

• Integrate peripherals such as labelers, barcode readers, checkweighers, and vision systems.
• Test automation sequences and troubleshoot connectivity or control issues.
• Conduct pre-commissioning tasks at headquarters and supervise equipment start-up at customer sites.

Field Support & Documentation

• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally for setup and technical support.
• Provide training and documentation for operators and client supervisors.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and report progress to the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Industrial, Electronics, or Industrial Automation Engineering.
• 2–10 years of post-graduation experience in automation systems setup.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and passport (eligible for Schengen travel).
• Willingness to relocate to Lebanon, PA (or nearby) and travel frequently.
• OSHA General Industry training (valuable).

• Strong PLC programming skills (ladder and structured text).
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and automation system integration.
• Hands-on approach with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Team-oriented with clear communication and client-facing professionalism.
• Proactive in solving technical challenges in high-paced environments.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with major PLC systems: Rockwell, Siemens, B&R.
• Experience with VFDs, industrial networks, and servomotors.
• Valuable: Knowledge of C++, JavaScript, robotics, and vision systems.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics.

Languages

• English: Proficient
• Spanish: Advanced

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
