Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in all aspects of patient care
- Carry out prescribed therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques under PT supervision
- Measure, document, and communicate patient progress
- Educating patients on home exercises, expectations, and long-term care strategies
- Support the PT with patient handling, treatment implementation, and overall clinical workflow
- Track and report treatment effectiveness to supervising PT
- Maintain excellent communication with the PT regarding patient status, progress, and follow-up needs
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Colorado PTA license (or license-eligible)
- Passion for outpatient rehabilitation, movement restoration, and patient education
- Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
