JOB OVERVIEW
Role Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing and communications efforts for a diverse portfolio of hospitality and affiliated business entities, including restaurants, marinas, corporate divisions, and community businesses with occasional involvement in hotel-related marketing tasks as needed.
This position plays a key role in pre-opening preparation, launch campaigns, and ongoing marketing execution. Acting as a bridge between property teams, the corporate office, and agency partners, the Marketing Coordinator ensures brand consistency, timely campaign delivery, and high-quality creative output across all channels.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with hands-on experience in social media, content creation, paid advertising, and local partnerships. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple projects while supporting brand and strategic goals.
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact for marketing initiatives across restaurants, marinas, corporate entities, andoccasionally hotels as assigned.
- Support pre-opening and launch activities for new outlets, including campaign planning, event activations, PR coordination, and community partnerships.
- Manage the marketing deliverables calendar, ensuring all creative assets, advertising materials, and insertion orders are delivered on time and meet brand standards.
- Vet and summarize advertising and sponsorship opportunities, recommending relevant placements for each entity.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and agency partners to align corporate strategies with property-level activations.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Own social media strategy, content creation, posting, and engagement for designated restaurants, marinas, and business entities with occasional support for hotels when needed.
- Manage paid social campaigns (Instagram and Facebook), optimizing performance and reporting on results.
- Capture on-site photo and video content that reflects each brand's identity.
- Perform light editing (cropping, color correction, filters, short-form video edits) to prepare content for publishing.
- Provide content and creative assets to agency partners for scheduling or campaign development.
- Monitor comments, messages, community chatter, and relevant discussions across platforms.
Content Creation & Photography
- Lead creative production across restaurants, marinas, and corporate entitiesand periodically support hotels with content needs.
- Design and update collateral including menus, flyers, tent cards, signage, and promotional materials using approved brand templates.
- Support menu updates and seasonal promotions in collaboration with operations and culinary teams.
- Assist in the coordination of professional photo and video shoots, including onsite logistics and styling.
- Edit, organize, and archive visual assets for use across social media, websites, newsletters, and internal documents.
- Work with the Graphic Designer and agencies to ensure all visuals meet brand guidelines.
Events, Partnerships & Activations
- Identify and recommend local partnerships, sponsorships, and event activations to increase visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate launch events, tasting dinners, marina activations, and community-focused initiatives
- Support media visits, influencer stays, and PR activations in collaboration with agency partners.
- Engage with tourism boards, local businesses, and community organizations to maximize reach.
Advertising, Deliverables & Reporting
- Manage deliverables and insertion orders across restaurants, marinas, and corporate entitiesand occasionally hotels ensuring accuracy and on-time submission.
- Collaborate with advertisers to ensure creative assets meet brand standards.
- Track performance of social media, paid campaigns, and advertising placements; prepare monthly reports for leadership.
- Provide insights for quarterly marketing dashboards and future campaign planning.
- Maintain organized archives of advertisements, coverage, and marketing documentation.
- Oversee execution of the Marketing Playbook and ensure alignment with annual promotional calendars.
Newsletter & Internal Communications
- Support newsletter creation and execution for restaurants, marinas, corporate divisions, andhotel entities when required.
- Manage segmentation, automation, design, and scheduling for email campaigns.
- Track database growth and maintain accurate subscriber lists compiled from reservations, signups, and events.
- Coordinate internal newsletters by gathering stories, content, and visuals from various departments.
Cross-Entity Support
- Provide light design and communications support to additional business units, including community-focused enterprises (schools, banks, service divisions).
- Support HR with creative needs including onboarding materials, internal communications, and smart forms
- Maintain organized records of creative files, insertion orders, and shared marketing documents.
PR, Influencer & Agency Collaboration
- Collaborate with agency partners on PR and influencer strategies across restaurants, marinas, and occasional hotel initiatives.
- Draft press releases, coordinate media outreach, and track coverage.
- Support influencer partnerships, ensuring deliverables align with brand standards.
- Maintain up-to-date media, influencer, and partner databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing coordination, digital marketing, or brand communications.
- Experience in hospitality, F&B, lifestyle brands, or consumer-facing environments strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in social media management and paid campaign execution.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva required; knowledge of Adobe Suite, Lightroom, or Figma is a plus).
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills for digital, print, and email channels.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Ability to interpret data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Position will require 5-10% annual travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45, $48,000.00 per year
