Business Analyst

is seeking a
Business Analyst
for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in
Richmond, VA
.

*This position is hybrid; 2-3 days/week will be on-site

Job Description:

The candidate will evaluate user requests for new or modified products, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies, and be proficient in agile practices and story writing.

Required Skills:

• 5 Years - Proven working experience as business systems analyst for medium to large projects
• 5 Years - Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams, other technical staff, business partners and vendors.
• 5 Years - Able to lead requirements-gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, and document analysis, to capture detailed business needs
• 5 Years - Able to accurately translate system and business requirements into epics, features and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
• 5 Years - Able to write UAT test scripts and proficient in UAT testing.
• 5 Years - Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks.
• 5 Years - Able to track requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycle
• 5 Years - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, VISIO, , ADO, JIRA,
• Confluence and BI Tools.
• 5 Years - Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
