Role Description
No More Dust Maid Services is expanding our commercial janitorial team We are seeking three (3) part-time cleaners and one (1) full-time day porter to support daily cleaning and maintenance of a 29,000 sq ft commercial office facility. We take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments — and we are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team.
Available Positions
1.
Part-Time Janitorial Cleaners (3 Positions)
Schedule: Monday – Saturday
Hours: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM (2 hours per day/12 hours/week)
Location: Largo, MD
Employment Type: W-2 Part-Time
Rate: $15 hour
2.
Day Porter / Janitorial Attendant
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturdays 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours: 37 hours/week
Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time
Rate: $15 hour
Job Responsibilities
Daily janitorial duties throughout the facility, including:
Collect and dispose of trash, ensuring dumpster areas remain clean and secured.
Vacuum carpeted hallways, offices, cubicles, and common spaces.
Dust mop and damp mop vinyl flooring in lobbies, corridors, and elevators.
Clean and disinfect drinking fountains; polish metal surfaces.
Clean and wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and breakroom or vending areas.
Glass cleaning on door partitions and entryways.
Dust desks, shelving, files, and office surfaces (excluding personal items).
Clean walk-off and entryway mats.
Restroom cleaning: disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, partitions, and fixtures; mop floors; replace liners.
Scheduled Floor/Facility Maintenance (performed by team with supervisor guidance):
Strip & clean ceramic/porcelain tile floors (2x/year)
Strip & refinish vinyl tile flooring with 4–5 coats of wax (2x/year)
Monthly spray buffing of vinyl flooring
Weekly walk-behind scrubber floor cleaning
Annual carpet shampoo for hallways & conference rooms
Annual interior & exterior window cleaning
Semi-annual cleaning of vents, vertical grills, ceiling fans, and high dusting
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning services
- Must have a valid Social Security Number
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Can pass a background check
