Solutions Architect – Intelligent Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled
Solutions Architect
with deep expertise in intelligent automation to lead complex, high-impact projects across multiple business units. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and who is comfortable owning the entire solution lifecycle—from initial design and architecture to delivery and long-term adoption. You'll play a pivotal role in building automation strategies that transform operations, while mentoring future leaders in the automation space.

• Salary: $170,000+ (minimum, commensurate with experience)

What You'll Do

• Lead professional services engagements, managing teams of 2–5 automation specialists through full project delivery.
• Provide technical direction and architectural oversight during solution design, implementation, and critical project milestones.
• Identify, recruit, and guide top talent—including RPA developers, analysts, and architects—to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Design and implement automation frameworks that maximize adoption, scalability, and measurable business value.
• Mentor engineers and consultants, helping them grow their expertise in automation technologies and solution design.
• Develop advanced mastery of automation platforms, driving innovation and best practices for clients and partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating client needs into impactful automation strategies and expanding opportunities for future growth.
• Represent the automation ecosystem with enthusiasm, advocating for new solutions and identifying ways to expand its impact.

What You'll Bring

• Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (C#, C++, VB, Java, or Python preferred).
• 3+ years of direct hands-on development in UiPath or comparable automation platforms.
• Proven expertise in robotic process automation and intelligent document understanding.
• Experience integrating automation with enterprise infrastructure and common systems through APIs.
• Ability to create and lead Solution Design Documents (SDD) and manage automation development teams end-to-end.
• UiPath professional certifications (Solution Architect or Developer Professional).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable in customer-facing roles.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the National Capital Region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Local to Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Northern Virginia.
• Experience deploying automation in government environments or integrating with enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
