Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management methodologies, with a strong focus on program development, risk management, and process improvement. This role requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage expectations, and utilize advanced project management tools to drive efficiency and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for underground utility projects.
- Track project progress, budgets, and timelines using internal systems and project management tools.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on schedule.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Support the Senior Project Manager in monitoring project performance metrics, cost tracking, and progress reports.
- Identify potential risks or schedule conflicts and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and job cost reports.
- Communicate effectively with Engineers, Vendors, Inspectors, Developers, Fire Marshals, Director of Public Works, General Contractors, Resident and Business Owners, and others related to projects.
- Ensure project compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in preparing bid packages, estimates, and proposals for new projects.
- Coordinate internal and external project meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Support crew mobilization, permitting, and utility coordination activities.
- Provide general administrative support to project and operations leadership.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong organizational and effective communication skills are required
- Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
