We're currently building Olive AI, a next-gen CRM platform that combines automation, data enrichment, and conversational AI to empower business owners, educators, and sales teams with smart workflows and actionable insights.

Role Overview

We're hiring a part-time Software Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of the Olive AI platform. You'll work closely with the core engineering team to build features, resolve bugs, and support integrations as we scale our MVP to production.

This is a great opportunity for a sharp, motivated developer to join an ambitious project with strong potential for long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy features within Olive AI's application stack
• Work with APIs (e.g., CRM systems, AI models, EdTech platforms)
• Assist in UI/UX enhancements and frontend development tasks
• Debug and resolve bugs and performance issues
• Support database and backend improvements
• Participate in weekly check-ins and asynchronous collaboration via Slack/GitHub
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with clear documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar modern programming languages
• Hands-on experience with React, , Flask, or comparable frameworks
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data workflows
• Understanding of Git-based version control (GitHub/GitLab)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines reliably

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS or CRM-style applications
• Exposure to AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, etc.)
• Familiarity with database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Interest in EdTech or education-focused apps

Job Type: Contract

Base Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
