About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack, to join our remote team within the Shopping division. In this pivotal role, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects, guiding a team of experienced developers to create innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrating data with emerging technologies and has a strong background in full stack development, cloud computing, and microservices architecture.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial empowerment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (internship experience does not qualify)
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go
• Experience working with open source frameworks and databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL)
• Strong understanding of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and oversee a portfolio of technology projects focused on full stack systems and microservices architecture
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications that adhere to regulatory and security standards
• Stay current with emerging technology trends and participate in internal and external technology communities
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver solutions that enhance customer experience and meet business objectives
• Utilize a variety of AWS tools and services to deploy and manage applications effectively
