Construction Estimating Coordinator

The Construction Estimating Coordinator plays a critical support role within ROYAL's pre-construction and estimating functions. This position is primarily geared toward estimating activities while also providing select project coordination, administrative, and operational support to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented bids. The Estimating Coordinator works closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and vendors to assemble bid packages, manage estimating documentation, support pricing accuracy, assist with material and logistics coordination as needed, and ensure a smooth handoff from pre-construction to execution.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining consistency with ROYAL's estimating standards, processes, and systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project coordination, or construction administration preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes preferred.
• Experience supporting estimating teams or project managers is preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore and construction estimating tools is a plus.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong organizational and document control skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to support cost analysis and bid accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Aptitude for learning estimating systems, processes, and construction methodologies.
