Position Summary
Using independent judgment performs a wide-range of imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy and portables in a variety of environments which may include the emergency room and operating room. Applies prescribed ionizing and/or non-ionizing radiation to patients for diagnosis and treatment. Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging procedures. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program. ARRT certification in at least two modalities and eligible for State of Connecticut Radiographers licenses. Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures. Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and guest relations skills. Advanced certification is assigned areas as appropriate.
