Job Summary

You're ready to put your engineering degree to work. We're looking for sharp recent graduates to join our R&D lab, where you'll roll up your sleeves, work with real hardware, and build the technical expertise that early-career engineers need.

You'll spend your time hands-on—assembling circuits, testing mechanical assemblies, troubleshooting systems, and collaborating with senior engineers who'll guide you. This isn't a desk job. You'll own real tasks, see tangible results, and walk away each day having learned something concrete about how electronics and mechanical systems actually work.

This role is for electrical and mechanical engineers. If your background is in biotech or life sciences, this won't be the right fit—we're focused on semiconductor and hardware development, not lab analysis or biological work.

This position will be part of the team within the R&D department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setup, maintenance, and operation of laboratory experiments and equipment related to electrical and mechanical engineering projects, under supervision.
  • Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving common issues with electrical circuits and mechanical assemblies.
  • Carry out testing and evaluation of systems, components, and prototypes, recording and analyzing test data as directed.
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications with guidance from mentors.
  • Use common lab tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, hand and power tools, microscopes and other analysis tools after training.
  • Prepare and label samples, materials, and assemblies; maintain accurate and organized documentation and lab records.
  • Help keep laboratory workspaces, equipment, and storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized, following all safety protocols.
  • Learn to assist in minor fabrication of mechanical parts and support assembly of simple circuits or hardware for test setups.
  • Manage inventory by tracking supplies and assisting with ordering as needed for lab activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Recent completion of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Familiarity with basic engineering and science laboratory tools, techniques, and safety practices.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, such as voltage, current, force, and motion.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and procedures and take direction from senior engineers and laboratory staff.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork ability
  • Genuine interest in hands-on technical work in hardware or semiconductor space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on project, internship, or coursework experience in labs or technical workshops.
  • Familiarity with simple circuit assembly, CAD drawings, or use of shop/lab equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in semiconductor, electronics, materials science, or hardware projects

Why Join Us

You'll build practical, marketable skills by working alongside experienced engineers tackling real challenges in hardware and semiconductor development. Expect to get hands-on, expand your technical know-how, and see the direct impact of your contributions in a collaborative, safety-focused R&D environment.

We encourage curiosity and learning on the job. You'll be supported with feedback and guidance, so your growth keeps pace with your ambition. Whether you're looking to explore different areas of engineering or strengthen your resume with credible lab experience, this role offers a strong foundation for your next steps.
