Electrical Project Manager

Williams Electric & HVAC is a rapidly growing electrical contractor serving the DFW metroplex. We handle commercial projects of all sizes and are known for quality workmanship, reliability, and professionalism. As our workload and client base continue to expand, we're looking for a strong Project Manager who can lead projects from start to finish and help drive the next phase of our company's growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial electrical projects from planning through close-out, ensuring all work meets our standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
• Coordinate closely with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
• Read, interpret, and work from construction documents including plans, specs, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Build and manage project schedules, manpower plans, material lists, and procurement timelines.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, resolve issues, and support field teams.
• Oversee project budgets, track costs, and generate cost projections and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, company safety policies, and all project-specific requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients and GC partners, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
• Help develop and mentor field leadership, fostering a strong team environment aligned with our values.
• Troubleshoot project challenges quickly and proactively to keep work moving efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial electrical construction.
• Strong understanding of NEC codes, electrical systems, and commercial construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Excellent organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities when working with crews, clients, and GC teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling, and basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Bluebeam; ServiceTitan experience is a plus).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Electrical license (Journeyman or above)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
